The set consists of two magnetic metal plates and both plates have a high-quality sticker from 3M on one side. Simply stick one plate to the ceiling and stick the other plate to the mounting plate of the detector. Now you can simply magnetically click your detector to the metal plate on the ceiling, and easily remove it for monthly cleaning.
